We believe that it’s important to know about the art world around you and we’re going to show you just that. Welcome to Analog Utah: a blog that was created to show you behind the scenes of Utah! We are excited to show you parts of the Utah scene that you haven’t seen before! And we hope this blog finds you well in the cold month of January (or maybe in the future)!

Our Schedule/Business Model.

Every month we will be posting at least one post per week. If something catches our eye we might post more but our goal is to have a consistent posting schedule. All of our blog posts will be out every Monday! We want all of our readers to know what to expect so here is our monthly schedule:

First week of the month	An interview/article about someone we find inspiring!	Our interview/article post will be interviews that we do with people behind/on the Utah scene. These are made to highlight some of our (and hopefully your) favorite people. Our interviewer, Mj, is a film photographer and will do a mini photoshoot of the interviewees to post in the article!
Second week of the month	Porter’s Album Reviews!	Each month our designated album reviewer, Porter, will review two albums each month. One album will be an album of his personal choice and the other will be an album from a local band!
Third week of the month	Another interview/article about someone we find inspiring!	This interview/article will be formatted the exact same as the other one. Why two? Because there are so many talented people in Utah that we have to!
Fourth week of the month	Mj’s Photos of the month!	At the end of each month Mj will chose three photos each month from Utah photographers! There are so many talented photographers in Utah so stay tuned if you’d like to see some of their work!

Questions You May be Thinking.

Why is it called Analog Utah?
- Analog is defined as “of, relating to, or being a mechanism or device in which information is represented by continuously variable physical quantities” and “Not digital”. Although you are reading this on a computer, our goal is to bring you information more simply. We are bringing back the basics by doing analog interviews, analog photography, and reviews of analog music. Not everything we will be doing is strictly analog, here at Analog Utah, we LOVE analog media and thought it had a nice ring to it!
What made you make Analog Utah?
- I decided to make this blog because I wanted to interview some of my favorite people on the scene! I also adore the arts and wanted to shine a new light on the arts of Utah. Utah is criminally misrepresented when it comes to it’s art scene and I just want more people to know about it!
What are those zines that I’m seeing all around town?
- We make a monthly free zine as a way to connect with an audience! It’s also our way of creating some fun art for the community!
